Last but not least my #5 summer go to product is the Sephora collection lip gloss. I’m loving the Perfect Nude as of now because it gives my already darker lips just a hint of color without the “pookie” look…so many of us brown women try the nude lip and it doesn’t work for everybody but with this gloss the nude lip can be achieved without looking ….crackish. LOL. I love the way this gloss slides on! It’s not sticky and it also has a great scent so that’s an A+ in my book. The Sephora collection glosses come in a variety of textures and tones…this one in particular is priced at 14$ a tube and I have had it for about …3 weeks so far. All in all its a great buy       

Granted I have worked in skincare and makeup for years now and I have tried many different cleansers…daring to be different…not one has done for my skin what The Body Shop’s Seaweed Deep Cleansing Face Wash has done. This face wash is made for those who have somewhat oily skin (combination skin) but is gentle enough for even sensitive skin. It is a gel based cleanser and creates a great lather to remove excess oils and impurities from the skin. This wash also helps to minimize the appearance of larger pores and prevents occasional breakouts. It has a slight cooling sensation when used because of the low amount of menthol in the product which i find quite refreshing especially in this southern heat. This product uses Bladderwack seaweed which is imported from Cork,Ireland and supports community trade activism. The Body Shop always has promotions which I’m always a fan of  because during those times i rack up on cleansers ( and sometimes a body butter). To the average consumer yes..12-14$ a bottle could be quite pricey for a face wash but it is defiantly well worth every penny. If you have a Body Shop close to you stop by and ask for a sample of any of their cleansers or moisturizers and try it before buying because this is a product that i most defiantly can’t live without.
